He had been an Honorary  member for nearly 2 years, so he was no stranger. He is a welcome addition to the membership considering his age and willingness to help those in need. He was pinned by Vice President Anna Troyan, and handed his member certificate by PE Gerard.

We stationed ourselves by the tables of RC TPP where our member Khun Pranom made a donation of 5,000 Baht to feed all the kids. We all had great fun eating and preparing the food as is documented in the photos below. A great day socialising with all the local people.

The hand over is planned for the 17th June. The official hand over will be on the Thursday, 16.00hrs on the 17th of June, maternity ward, Hospital of Thong Pha Phum with a joint Rotary meeting in the evening. On Friday the 18th of June, it is planned to attend the fruit festival.

Meeting point was the Lincoln in Pattaya 3rd Rd. Treasurer Travers Devine from our Sister Club RC Hermosa Beach, CA, USA was also present. President Bob had invited all for a drink to mark the event. We will be celebrating out 10th birthday in 2011 and a dinner/dance evening is in the planing.

Unfortunately it took longer than anticipated for all the participating clubs to pay in to the Foundation. This has now been completed and according to RI we should receive the required funds for our project in 2-3 weeks. We hope to have the project finished and handed over by the end of March!
