Dear friends, our club and Rotary District 3340 is starting an appeal for help for the flood victims in Thailand. We need to buy eg water and rice etc. Any amount is welcome, $5 or $1000 will help the needy. This is a time to give something back to Thailand. We have to mention here that all this would not have been possible without the extensive help of Peter & Nid Rottmann. It was very hot work  but we managed the assemble in about 1.5 hrs with lots of help from the school children :) The best is of course the actual hand over of the filters to see the gratitude in the eyes is fantastic. After a great lunch we split into two groups as 4 members of RCES went to visit familes earmarked for extra help, and the rest of us went to the second village Ban Pa Chan for the second hand over.

About 6.5 hrs later after a meal stop we arrived at the Hotel. Tired but happy. We were all looking forward to the following day when we would assemble and hand over the drip filters. Peter Rottmann and his wife Nid were waiting for us and had arranged a fantastic BBQ for all.
