The project consists of supplying the maternity ward of the Hospital in Thong Pha Phum with 5 Phototherapy lamps and 2 Double Phototherapy lamps plus bedding. This will be financed via Matching Grant together with our sister clubs, RC Hermosa Beach, RC Thai Town, RC Thong Pha Phum, and the Rotary Clubs Eastern Seaboard, RC Jomtien-Pattaya plus the Districts 3340 and 5280. The MG (#69585) has now been applied for (update 21.02.09) and we are waiting on the RI Foundation for a reply.

Update 30.07.09;

I have received a response from the RI Foundation telling me that MG #69585 has been approved and that the official letter will arrive within 1-2 weeks!

Update 07.08.09;

We have as of today received the “Official Approval Letter” from the Foundation. The project should be completed by the end of September ’09.

Update 12.02.2010

Unfortunately it took longer than anticipated for all the participating clubs to pay in to the Foundation. This has now been completed and according to RI we should receive the required funds for our project in 2-3 weeks.
